My Militia: Web Site

“We are a community of concerned patriots who are not overly confident in the current direction of our society, from the wild political climate to what can be summed up as a lack of morals or a complete void of integrity and pretty much a blatant disregard of respect….. Respect for our past, respect for our future and respect for each other. In order to protect our constitution and life as we know it, we decided to not be the silent majority anymore and pull our selves up by the bootstraps and make the world a better place. This website is to unite people like us, people who want to make a difference … and do it the right way, Little did we know that in doing so we would create the number one militia community online. Here we are. Enjoy.”

A couple of years ago I built a blog centered around gathering links to the many separate militias with a Web presence. I had an entry for each militia containing a link(s) to their Web site and/or Facebook or whatever method used to let that group be accessible.

Months of part-time effort led to my concluding that Web search engines purposefully tried to mask the militia presence. I also noticed that many militias were apparently on hiatus or had greatly minimized their activities. As my database and blog grew it became increasingly time-consuming and took me away from other efforts such as countering the massive amounts of propaganda/indoctrination strewn about by the elite-owned tyrannical media, entertainment and other industries. After my experiences trying to find militia Web presences and the difficulties encountered I decided my efforts would be best devoted to countering the blasphemies and barriers the tyrants are bombarding the masses with. So I stopped my militia tracking blog and eventually deleted it since with time links/sites die.

I found other efforts to coordinate the various militias. One site had been around for nearly a decade. It was a full-fledged Web site with a bulletin/message board, individual personal pages for registered users, a news feed, a picture/graphic collection and other offerings. In the past there had been several hundred registered users but when I found the site the newest past was several months old. I registered/joined and began using that site as one of several places where I offer commentary, links to other sites and all the stuff i do trying to counter those tyrannical bastards spitting upon We, the People. A couple of weeks go by and I receive a response from on-site. The site’s founder was happy to have some action and urged me to continue. And I did. However… my presence did not revitalize the site.

The past users were either busy elsewhere, incarcerated, dead or busy with something else. The founder had health problems and asked me to take over the entire site. I was given full access as administrator. That task kept me busy by pruning dead links and basically tossing out old stale content and adding new. As with the militia-related blog it was time-consuming and took time away from other efforts. A shot-gun approach seems to be the most effective attack for me… post a little at a lot of places with a link for folks to follow to gather more information. A few months went by with no contact from the founder/owner so I e-mailed him and left a message on the site. No response. A few more months and… the site was offline. It appeared that the paid-up hosting had reached an end. I was administrator but not the owner so did not receive any payment request. I can’t afford a Web site, anyway so… that effort died and was buried.

I found similar sites but some are lacking in user-friendliness and others attracted a cohort more interested in the military boots-on-the-ground portion of the militia so I did not linger. The site linked-to here is somewhat akin to the site I administered. I gave it a quick look-over then joined to allow full access. Sites do come and go with militia and militia-related sites prone to a short shelf-life. I toss this one out for perusal. maybe it will be useful to you and hopefully useful in the ongoing fight against a tyranny that seems to be increasingly powerful in all parts of society.
